Code of Conduct

CRANE is committed to fostering a community in which all members are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness, and where diverse perspectives, backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures are welcomed and valued. We believe that academic freedom and freedom of speech are fundamental to the exchange of ideas and the advancement of knowledge, and that these freedoms flourish within an inclusive, supportive, and respectful environment.

All members share a collective responsibility to contribute to a culture in which individuals feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to participate fully, collaborate openly, and engage in constructive challenge in ways that uphold the dignity and wellbeing of others. Our expectations for behaviour, conduct, and respectful engagement are set out in this Code of Conduct. Where behaviour falls short of these principles, anyone who experiences or witnesses it is encouraged to raise concerns through the routes outlined in the Code.
